WBASCLB - West Bromwich Albion Supporters Club London Branch We were formed by Rab Rogers (pictured left) in September 1976 and our first trips saw us beat Spurs 4-2 and then Man Utd 4-0 at the Hawthorns - not a bad start! We were the first supporters club branch to sponsor a game and had our own fanzine the "Euston Express" before such publications became popular. Although support dwindled through the eighties Paul Mason resurrected the Branch in December 1990 after an away game at West Ham. Paul later got distracted by events off the pitch (but thankfully with an "Albion lass") which resulted in him moving to the West Midlands and I took over in 1994. We now hold monthly meetings in London and arrange travel to most Albion games - home and away. The London Branch is affiliated to the main supporters club in West Bromwich and APFSCIL (the Association of Provincial Football Supporters Clubs in London). A London Baggies team plays in the APFSCIL Pool league and we arrange social events throughout the year. We make an award to the London Branch "Player of the Year at a special supporters evening in Birmingham. Our re-born fanzine "Baggie Shorts" is produced five times a year and is sent to all members. Oh yes, some members occasionally don the famous navy blue and white stripes to indulge in friendly footie game.

The London Branch is always looking for new members, so give us a call sometime and join a friendly club dedicated to the Albion and having fun - and if we can do the two together that's a bonus!

Rab Rogers (left) and Paul Mason (right) receive their "Honorary Life Membership" awards for services to the London Branch. Rab was instrumental in forming the Branch in 1976 and Paul resurrected the Branch in 1990. Without these two stalwarts we wouldn't have the London Baggies!
